License Management
Activate, renew, and manage your CrestBid license key.
CrestBid is licensed per plan. After signup or purchase you receive a signed license key by email; the install command activates it automatically, and you can change it later inside the app.
Activate or change a key
- 1Open Settings › License.
- 2Paste the license key from your email.
- 3Click Activate. Your plan and entitlements unlock immediately.
How licensing works
Your key is a self-contained signed token that encodes your plan tier and expiry. The app verifies it offline with a bundled Ed25519 public key — it never contacts a licensing server at runtime, there is no account to log into, and nothing about your usage is reported back.
Renewals and changes
- Subscriptions renew automatically; a fresh key is issued each cycle if needed.
- Manage or cancel your subscription from the billing portal in your purchase email.
- Upgrading a plan issues a new key — paste it the same way.
Free evaluation
Signing up on the Download page issues a free 30-day evaluation key. When it ends, generation and export pause but everything you created stays fully viewable — the platform fails closed for spend, open for access to your own data. Activate a paid plan to continue; your projects are preserved.
